This notice describes the Privacy Statement of the STAR Center ("STAR Center", "we" or "our"), a U.S. non-profit organization. The STAR Center is committed to protecting your privacy when you visit our website by restricting the use of collected information. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") outlines how we collect information when you visit our website and how we use that information. You will not be required to submit personally identifiable information, but if you choose to do so, you are accepting and consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Anonymous Information: The STAR Center website automatically captures limited, non-personally identifiable information that your browser makes available. This information may include your Internet protocol ("IP") address, browser type and computer operating system, time and date you visit, the pages you access, and the address of the page that directed you to our site. We use this data to understand patterns of site activity and to improve the website so it is more useful for you. This information is not linked in any way to your personal information. Although we cannot guarantee impenetrability of our servers, we have established reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards for all of the information we collect online.

Personal Information: We do not collect personally identifiable information from you unless you supply it voluntarily. The types of personally-identifiable information that you may be prompted to consider providing may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, gender, marital status, program interests, date of birth, social security number, armed forces affiliation, credit card number, citizenship, language spoken, academic experience, work experience, financial information, or other information relevant to course registration, request for information, or a transaction.

We request personally identifiable information only when necessary to provide a service or to complete a transaction. Examples include requesting program information; registration for a course and paying for events, conferences or courses.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties your personally identifiable information, except that we may share this data with affiliates or vendors we retain to provide services necessary to our operations. Such third parties could include website hosting companies, mail delivery service companies and payment processors.
