DP Simulator

The second course in the training scheme for NI DPO.

Phase B:

  • A minimum of 60 DP sea time days AND completion of task section on DP1, 2 or 3
  • Vessels+company confirmation letter. There is a template and explanation on Nialexisplatform.org for this.
  • Note: A maximum of 90 DP sea time days can be completed in Phase B.
  • Up to 30 excess active DP sea time days can be carried over from Phase B to Phase D.
  • Maximum 30 passive DP sea time days can be used in Phase B. Definition of passive days in Nialexisplatform.org

To enroll in the DP Simulator course, you must send the following scanned information to STAR Center at the time of course application:

  • All pages from your logbook with sea time
  • All pages from your logbook with completed Tasks
  • The pages from your logbook where your photo, signature and serial number is
  • The signed sea time confirmation letter as defined in Nialexisplatform.org
