STAR Center and AMOP Campus Health Protocols

STAR Center and AMO Plans are committed to providing a safe environment and to the ongoing health and wellbeing of all Plans Participants, staff and campus visitors and to the ongoing continuity of AMO Plans operations. In support of this, AMO Plans Trustees directed and approved the following protocols for STAR Center campus and related facilities to apply to all individuals while attending STAR Center.
- If you feel unwell or are displaying any illness related symptoms (i.e. cough, runny nose, fever, aches, chills, etc.), do not go to class/do not travel to STAR Center. Symptom-based screening and testing is available at the clinic and may be conducted on a voluntary basis.
- Clinic services are available. Please contact ext. 7515 to make an appointment. Please note that COVID 19 testing is available on a voluntary basis while on campus. Seasonal Flu vaccine shots may also be available.
- Wash your hands frequently and use the hand sanitizer provided.
- The galley/dining area is open Monday to Friday:
- Breakfast - 0700 to 0830
- Lunch - 1130 to 1300 (shifts may be assigned)
- Dinner - 1630 to 1800 (shifts may be assigned)
- Dinner (Sundays) - 1600 to 1700
- The tented BBQ area is available for additional outside seating.
- The pools and gym are available. Wipe down equipment after use.
- BBQs are available.
- In no event should any student bring an unauthorized guest onto campus.
The Benefits Department services are available, on a walk-in basis or by calling ext. 12, to answer any benefits related questions/issues.
Students are expected to act in a responsible manner that does not impact other students/members/guests.
By direction of the Board of Trustees and with the support of the AMO union, any student in violation of the above rules will be immediately dismissed from class.
