Small Arms Training Information |

In October 2007, Military Sealift Command (MSC)
aligned its Small Arms training with the US Navy as detailed in
OPNAVINST 3591.1E. From that date, all courses conducted at STAR
Center conform with that instruction and its revisions. All
potential students should understand that the 3-day program offered is a
Qualification course and training afforded is minimal due to time
constraints. All students will be required to sign the Lautenberg Amendment (DD2760) on arrival. Please review to insure that this will not be a problem. As time is limited, a review of each weapon type is recommended.
